Arrival Times and Procedures

The arrival times and procedures will be changing a little for the 2024-2025 academic year.

7:00 - 7:35: Hot Breakfast is Served (PreK—8). Any student dropped off between 7:00 and 7:35 will be able to get the hot breakfast option
7:35 - 7:45: To Go Breakfast is Available (PreK—8). Any student dropped off between 7:35 and 7:45 will be able to get a To Go breakfast bag and take it to the classroom. 
7:45: Tardy bell - All students except students on the bus should be in their classrooms
7:50: Morning announcements

Students are to be dropped off at Door 6, which is located by the flagpole at the end of the front drive. Students who arrive after 7:45 need to ring the bell outside door 5, and Mrs. Zelt will let them in.

Dismissal

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday

• Cars will line up in the front-drive starting down past door 6. See the map below for how to line up.
• Students will be called and sent out as a group to load up. All students in each group will be loaded up prior to anyone leaving. If you are parked at the front of the line, please wait for the staff member to release you.
• Please be patient and do not drive around other cars to leave early.
• Walkers will be dismissed after car riders have all left.

Wednesday

If your child will be absent for the day or tardy because of an appointment, parents are required to call the school office between 7:30-8:00 AM each day of the absence.

To ensure the safety of students at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School, parents will be contacted if the office does not receive a call. You can leave a message by calling the school at 623-3447 or sending an email to [email protected]. If your child is absent, please call before 9:00 A.M. to request make-up work that will be available by 2:35. You may also have siblings pick up the homework to take home. 

PANTS

• Color: Khaki (tan), Navy blue,  & Black
• Style: No flair-legged/bell bottom, Natural waistline, Capri for girls, No cargo, no extra pockets on sides, NO TIGHT FITTING PANTS (Dress code committee will have the final decision on the appropriate fit), No extra embroidery/decorations
• Material: Cotton/polyester, No denim, No nylon
• Shirts must be tucked in at all times

SHORTS SKORTS/SCOOTERS(May be worn from the opening day of school through the end of the first grading period and after spring break until the end of the school year)

• Color: Khaki (tan), Navy blue, & Black
• Style: Natural waistline, Carpenter, No cargo, no extra pockets on sides, Modest length: no more than 3-4 inches above the knee
• Material: Cotton/polyester, No denim
• Shirts must be tucked in at all times

SHIRTS (Purchased through school office with St. Rose of Lima School logo on left shoulder)

• Color: White, Forest Green, Red, Black, Light Blue, & Navy
• Style: Polo, Long or short-sleeved
• Shirts must be tucked in at all times
• Buttoned except for the top button
• If wearing a t-shirt (whether short-sleeved or long-sleeved) under the uniform shirt, the t-shirt must be either white, navy blue, or forest green.

SWEATSHIRTS (Purchased through school office with St. Rose of Lima School logo on left shoulder) 

• Color: Heather gray
• Worn over a uniform shirt with shirt collar visible
• No hooded sweatshirts are allowed to be worn inside the building

SWEATERS

• Cardigan style with no hoods
• Color: Navy blue, White, & Forest green
