Through religious instruction, regular participation in Mass, special religious celebrations, and community service, our students receive a well-rounded and rigorous education and a robust catechetical formation.
The State of Indiana has established academic standards that clearly outline what students should know and be able to do at each grade level.
St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is accredited through Lumen. This Diocesan-wide accreditation takes place every five years. We have seven full-time teachers and four part-time aids. Our staff has over 80 years of teaching experience combined.
The curriculum at St. Rose of Lima School follows all state and Diocesan guidelines and meets all requirements for Religious instruction. We offer full-day Kindergarten and several affordable preschool options to fit your family's needs.
Our academic day begins at 8:00 a.m. Student drop-off precedes at 7:30 a.m. At 7:45, all students begin with homeroom, including morning prayer, pledge, attendance, and any daily announcements.
On Wednesdays (1 - 5), Thursdays (6-8), and Fridays (K-8), we have school mass from 8:15 - 9:00 a.m. Dismissal time runs at approximately 2:35 each day except for Wednesdays. On Wednesdays throughout the year, we have early dismissal at 2:05 so we can have faculty collaboration time, allowing our teachers to work together to serve our children better.
