Our students receive a well-rounded and rigorous education along with a strong catechetical formation through our religious instruction and regular participation in Mass, special religious celebrations, and community service.
The State of Indiana has established academic standards that clearly outline what students should know and be able to do at each grade level.
St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is accredited through AdvancED. This Diocesan wide accreditation takes place every 5 years. We have seven full time teachers and four part time aids at school. Our staff combined has over 80 years of teaching experience.
The curriculum at St. Rose of Lima School follows all state and Diocesan guidelines along with meeting all requirements for Religious instruction. We offer full-day Kindergarten and several affordable options for preschool to fit your family's needs.
Our academic day begins at 8:00 a.m. Student drop-off precedes at 7:30 a.m., and our before care program opens as early as 6:30 a.m. At 8:00, all students begin with homeroom, including morning prayer, pledge, attendance, and any daily announcements.
On Wednesdays (K & 1) and Fridays (2-8), we have school mass from 8:15-9:00 a.m. Dismissal time runs approximately 2:35 each day except for Wednesdays. On Wednesdays throughout the year, we have early dismissal at 2:05 so that we can have faculty collaboration time, allowing our teachers to better work together to serve our children.
